Anne has been helping us with the childcare for 9 months. She picks up our kids from school and spend time with them while we are working. She plays with them or takes them to afterschool activities. Sometimes she looks after them in the evening when we want to go out. She is very gentle, caring and trustworthy. Our children both really like her and they have developed a great relationship with her. She is very attentive and responsible and we trust her completely to stay in with them or take them out. We can’t recommend her enough!

In order to come up with an appropriate rate, you should first take into account the minimum wage for your area. Then, you might consider offering a higher rate of pay to keep things fair if you’re asking for any help with things like tutoring or chores around the house - or if you know your kids can be a handful for even the most patient of sitters!
